updates on my 7 and questions...
okay so i have the entire racingbeat exhaust system installed, this includes header to presilencer to muffler. i've noticed that i have had some power loss in the lower rpms, yet it is loud as a mother! is there a way to regain some power back from 500 to 3000rpms. i like the way she runs from 5k on, she screams like crazy, its awesome, but it has slower starts. can anyone help? my mods are in my sig... maybe it has something to do with the mech. secondaries? i am really not sure. thanks in advance

Usually RB mufflers are not loud? I have a header straight pipe and RB muffler and it is not considered loud by me? Not too much louder than stock.
500-3000rpm's
What are you doing driving under 1000 rpms? Mine wouldnt even idle right under 1000?

It may have something to do with mech secs? are you just flooring it at 500 wanting it to burst to 3500? With the mech secs you need to slowly stomp it, then when it starts to get close to 3000 slam it fully open.
I would look into the exhaust leak theory.

okay well i was thinking there was an exhaust leak because i heard some ticking, but the reason why my muffler is loud is because its a used racingbeat muffler. my car idles at 500rpms, thats what im doing under 1000k. i dont need my car to be idling much over 500-900rpm.

If you are draging though, you want to launch around 4k and slip the clutch out of the hole. Therefore there is no loss between 500 and 3500. Or maybe I am just not understanding your problem correctly.

doing that involves spending more money and i already spent enough on the exhaust in pieces. the car is already loud as a mother, im sure removing the presilencer will make my ears bleed. i already cant hear anyone if im driving and trying to talk on my hands free cell phone thing. lol, guess some things must be sacrificed.
