update on my eal schieb paint job

well just to catch some people up. i took my car to earl schieb and they did a horrible job the first time. ( not sure how to paste original thread link) well after talking to the district manager they repainted it again no charge. and repaired some body work and extra clear for free. heres the first paint job pics

Looks much better, hope it holds up and they didn't just do a quick and and spray over uncured product.

lol on earl scheib. Got my 76 quattro painted there in 1988 for less than $150. Went back in in 2000 and asked if they're still doing it for the same price. The manager last laughed and asked me if I just got out of the joint.

That was a steal! I like the gloss black you chose way better than any metallic, great choice!

they did 2 clears one intergrated and one as a coat. and yes they did the door jams. and heres a tip this is how it was cheap. i went to macco and got a basic est just sand and paint the car no door jams included. then i went to earl scheib and said heres my macco est which included door jams and if i signed today they would add a clear. see my friend use to work for macco and basiclly their just sales man. and their willing to knock off $ to just get the sale like salesman do. the best package they have is the pro 3. good luck and remember not to let them sell u. and be picky remember that salesman has a boss so they need to do it right

also it took about 2 weeks total. the first paint was done poorly and that was a week. the second paint was done right ( after i called district manager) and they took another week to resand , prep dents and repaint. for the money the second paint job looks great really stands out.
