The engine is a street port, balanced, dowelled, 2mm seals, ran 10.93@125 in the old shell, turbo is a 60-1 1.32 rear.

Directfreak
the car was past its used by date, lots of rust, chassis a bit bent, doors wouldnt close properly, got logged for a roll cage and full tech inspection before i could drag it again so i decieded to sell that shell and start on a stock shell.

purple82
Thats not me, thats the panel beater, he used a mask for the 2 pac clear,

riffraff
yes i have some pics of that will upload them shortly

82transam
Yes with clear over base it is very very easy to get good results with out a booth, BUT you will get some **** in the paint, where as in the booth you usually wont get any at all if the booth is good, and its take 2 days to dry unless you bake it,

the colour is suppose to be the tiger gold of a GM car we have here in AUS, but the paint shop mixed it wrong and put too much bronze in it, it swappes between orange, gold, bronze and yellow depending on the light, it looks awesome out in the sun!!.

will be about 2 weeks before the paint is on the rest of the car, ill put up some more pics of the prep work and some of the roll cage,

Cool. Where did you put the stuff to let it dry? I'll probably be painting my car in my barn so I would just leave it in there for 2 days I guess.

if you are painting in a barn hose down everything to get rid of all dust then paint and leave for 2 days min,
if its hot it will go off quicker,
wont be fully hard for a week even if baked in booth so try not to bolt anything to it for a week after painting

what interior are you planning on running with?
i am planning on welding in a 4 point roll bar soon, and was planning on going with that rather than a cage (like yours) because i didnot think that it would look very good with the dash in... this is for a street car, and so i want the full interior.

Depending on the paint your using, you probably don't want to try to wax it for at least a month.

Thanks Guys!!
appricate the support!!

This paint is clear over base, probably about 2 weeks with out baking before you should cut it back, if you put it on right you wont have to cut it back!
Acrylic you probably shouldnt cut back for a month, let it harden right up.
