I was looking over the pic and noticed that you went with the aftermarket HID headlights instade of the popup's. I'm not one to judge another mans project, but just curious why you didnt want to keep the stock popup look? Just gut feeling or like the solid light look better?[/QUOTE]

uh, pop ups? gross. j/k! naw, i prefer the sleek look. i love pop ups during the day

cuz they look mean and all when they're down, but i hate it at night when theyre

up. you gotta keep the body lines smooth at all times. whats missing in the pic

though are the headlight covers. dont want to scratch them up. they make my

headlights look 110% better.

Looks very good. Do you have any pics from underneath that show how you mounted up the FD suspension? Front and rear please thanks.

I know a lot of people didn't like this idea at all in the other thread, but WOW...very impressed with your work.

I've actually been looking forward to this update!

Yeah, I had my doubts on this one, still not my style but it looks like you got the problems worked out and it looks very well done. Did I understand correctly that you are going to do tail lights/rear end from a FD? I really can't support that one, you'll look like the kids that make their Civic look like a Skyline, it will just make everything too different. But whatever you do, keep up the good work.

I'm with him^^^^^

How did you solve your fender gap issues? IIRC, you had some nasty fender gap above the wheels in initial mock up.

Very nicely done. I was going to do that with mine when I decided to go CYM with the paint, but didn't have the time (or the initial funds needed) to do that. I cant wait to see that in person.

I think it is awesome!! Reminds me of when I first saw them put the 'droop snoot' on the Porche 911's (930, 935-K3, etc). Looks totally cool. I can see that you are doing an amazing job of tying it all together. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see it done!!

Because he doesn't want to be one of the guys who has an awesome car and don't even know how to change the sparkplugs. (Read: People who buy awesome cars cuz they have $$$ but pay someone else to do all the fix'n. Funny how you ask someone like that something about their car and they answer, "I don't know, let me ask my mechanic."
Truly Sad.

Bill

That is a kinda insulting thing to say, there. What do you mean, you don't think he could change the sparkplugs in a FD?

The car looks good and will look even better when it has the power and handling to match. What's the next plans for that?
