Up the creek!

Hey guys- I have been working on a friends car today- putting an engine in... I have had a couple things go SOUTH...

First thing- The engine is not timed correctly...and to add to that... when we started the engine up...the shaft pully fell off.... someone didn't tighten the bolts.

So- My question is... How do I put the pully back on correctly and in the right position... and what is the correct procedure to time the engine... ie...putting the distributor in correctly....

OK- Am I reading the thread right... The leading mark on the pully is going to be in the 12:00 poistion....NOT line up with the scribe?

Bolt the pully down....

Then to put the distributor in... I need to rotate the engine till the yellow line lines up with the scribe... line the distributor up and drop her in....

RIGHT?!!!!!!!

Line up the yellow mark and one of the bolts should be at 0, which I'm assuming is 12:00.
