Why would you have to change your carter because you have a hogged out nikki? Nikki only needs 3.5psi If im not mistaken. I have a carter running my rb holley at 6psi. Carter should be able to handle that nikki, it ran my paul yaw nikki when I had it on

It can handle it fine but its LOUD! Louder than my engine now that I have the nikki
on there. The Dell kind of drowned it out before.

That is the one mod I regret is my loud *** fuel pump. It gets especially loud after idling for a while, because it's got a returnless regulator- so fuel gets backed up to the pump.

I guess I shouldn't say regret, but I wish I would've shopped around for a quieter pump. It might be going away soon anyway, I've been seriously considering converting to TBI using a GM unit and Megasquirt. I'll need more fuel pressure if I go that route.

But I don't regret anything else. Everything else I've done has either fixed problems, made the car run better, or made the car better in some way. The exhaust is loud, the seats are uncomfortable, and it gets a little warm in traffic. Why would I want it any other way?
