Ughh Rusty Rusty

Welp, my 83 car I picked up to auto X with has a bad case of cancer. The rear interior has a small patch of rust thorough to the outside of the car, right on top of the upper suspension arm brackets. I've patched that with 22 gauge, and since I'll be fabbing up a 3rd link, I'm not concerned really with that bracket, as I'm not using that arm.

Now...there is some rust in the rockers...and....right near the lower suspension arm body mount. The mount seems to be fine, just the thin sheetmetal piece near it, further out....the "subframe" pinch rail if you will. I'll try and take a pic, but I'm not sure if the car is really worth playing with at this point.

Seems like it might be fixable, I'm just not sure. I guess I could always tub it, but I'm looking for daily playcar/autoX'r, not 1/4 mile queen.
