Ugh, I'm throwing in the towel...

Too many projects, too little time, so unfortunately, for now, I'm done with FBs. You guys have all been really helpful and encouraging... Maybe if I can find one to drive and not be a project, I'll be back.

No dude, you can't get rid of your project FB!

Seriously, you'll find yourself missing it and you'll end up getting another one and wishing you had kept the first one...

Everyone has periods in their life where it seems like a good idea to get rid of the project, but it's usually better to just put the project on hold for a bit and come back to it when you have the time

We'd miss ya if you left.

Jon

Yep. It's tough doing this stuff with two toddlers, work, etc. My T2 is my priority as far as RX-7 projects go, then I have the 'vert to restore for my GF. The FB is better off in somebody else's hands.

That's cool man....... Hate to see ya get away from the FB, but it looks like you have a full
plate.

I think I would focus on a TII as well. Good luck, and thank you for all you have done in this section. You have always been innovative and eager to help others.

Good luck!

that sucks that you're getting out, but if you've had enough you've had enough.

do you happen to have a good condition 12a sitting around? mine ate itself not to long ago.

I'm back.

I decided not to sell it. Instead of modding the hell out of my T2, I'm going to leave it pretty much the way it is and enjoy it. The FB is going to get modded instead, then, when the FB is finished, I can take the T2 off the road and go LS1. So, Project FB is starting back up after Memorial Day Weekend.

Plans: I'm buying a JDM T2 motor and tranny. The T-04 that was going to go on the T2 is now being slated for the FB, along with the Microtech LT-8s, FMIC, etc. I'm shooting for 300+ rwhp, but who knows, it could be over 400... We'll see.

I think we all go thru withdrawl.
I sold my first SE, which I purchased from the original owner, because I hated to see it sit in my garage due to "life" ( kids ,wife ,bills etc..).
now I have 2 SE's and niether one can hold a candle to the condition my first one was in. I have had to spend twice the amount of money and time trying to get only ONE of them to the condition of my "first" SE. Live and Learn....
Go figure....

well, since you're "modding the hell" out of the FB, what say you see if you can finish those sub enclosures

If I have time, I'll work on those. Getting the car running is the priority, though.

Sounds like your plans are going to create one hell of a beast of a machine. Good luck with that.

Hey, any of you who want to donate your skills so I have time to do all the things I need to do, feel free. Until then, be pals and stow it, ok? Life happens, and I have lots of responsibilities and things going on over here that you all have zero clue about. Last summer, I had time to **** around with sub enclosures. Right now, I barely have time to see straight. Don't have anything encouraging to say, stuff it. Really.
