U-Joint
Does anyone have a part number for the stock ujoints? I know they are not "replacable" but I do have the tools to get mine out and to put new back in. But I need to find some new ones to put back in.

if you actually succeed in removing them somehow then take them to napa, they can measure them and find them by size in their catalog. Although I question how you're going to keep the new ones in. I've never looked closely at the stock ones on my car but I assume since they're not replaceable then they're not held in by snap rings.

Other gyus have gotten Ujoints swapped in at a driveshaft shop for as little as $40, but I'd expect $100+ or so, when you walk the shaft in.
If you've never replaced Ujoints yourself it'll be difficult because they come dissassembled so you gotta mount a yoke in the shaft and then figure how to get the cross in with the needle bearings. I did it twice with expert guidance from a real mechanic.

Just buy a new shaft. If you pay 100 per joint you just spent 90% of the cost of a new shaft. Mazdatrix I think they're 220!
And if you don't cut a grove in the yoke and put in a snap ring, they WILL come out and you WILL have problems. I just did this two months ago and it didn't last 10 miles. Bite the Bullet and buy a new shaft.
But if you do pay someone to put in some replaceable joints, they will not warranty it, so why do it. I took mine to a driveshaft shop around here and they guy said he COULD do it but he WOULDN'T do it because he has had them fail.
