Twin pipe exhaust system

Are there any advantages in going for a twin pipe exhaust system?

If thinking of building a 2" pipe system straight from the headers with seperate presilencers and mufflers. would it work and increase power? Its an approach Pineapple Racing recommended and I am interested in the experience of anyone who has tried it.

I doubt that it would help any for these cars to have an actual dual exhaust with twin mufflers.

The original owner did an interesting functional dual exhaust look to my car, here is a pic that show's how it's in there:

If you cant tell whats going on in that pic....

Thats the rear end of the muffler.

It splits into dual outlets, one tip goes straight back and makes up one exhaust tip......the other pipe follows the inside of the rear fascia, and exits on the other side, as the 2nd tip...

This is a rear pic of the car.....the tips are crooked, because the exhaust is being fixed:

AGHHH the picture didn't work. All of my AOL space is taken up. Is there anywhere else I can host....maybe for free?
