I have been working on piston cars for a long time now and i just got an 85 rx7 with a 12a in it what can i do to the engine besides; port and polishing it adding an exhaust and a turbo. Or is this all i can do to it? i heard some were that you can make them redline at 12,000 is that true thanks for your time.

 

Well, 12000 is kinda off. Becasue at about 10500 your Rotors and Output shaft begin to wobble in a way. And your Apex seals wont last much after 8500.
