NC turn signals not working???

The lights work on the car, the brake lites work too but the darn turn signals are a no show??? I checked fuses...nothing wrong there... I have not taken apart the columne to look at the turn signal switch yet but I gather the switch is the problem.. but.... just checking on the forum for someone who may have had similiar problem and know exactly what it is...

any thoughts would be appreciated... thxs.....chris

If the front signals aren't lighting then the rear ground won't make any difference. Most likely the multiswitch needs cleaning, which can be done w/o removing it. I think there's a 'How To' in the archives. One other thing to check is the flasher unit but the lights should come on even if it's bad.

I got a similar problem. My front driver side just stopped working, the rear driver turn works fine, but now the circuit blinks at double-time to let me know that "a bulb is out" even though I changed all the turn signal bulbs just a couple of weeks ago when my front passenger side went out.

Still could be the multiswitch?
