People have done it for 1k or a little less. But you have to be pretty handy, and patient enough to wait for good deals on parts.

If you search around you can find one Used for $600 thats already to go.
just search the forums 4sale/wanted sections. check every day and sooner or later you'll find it. also read, read, and read some more the more you know the less like you are to buy a system that will disapoint. also you got to think aside from the turbo system you'll need to think whether you want carb or fuel injection. with fuel injection you'll need to buy a stand alone ecu system which can be pretty pricey, and if you go carb you'll need intake manifold, carbureter, and turbo bonnet(carb turbo plenum) which can also be pricey so all in all you need well over $1000 to put in the system. plus you have to change you exhaust, its alot of money when you come down to the finish. I got my self in over my head once and ended up learning a bunch of ****. I thought it was going to be just buy the turbo and hook it up to my nikki, boy was i ever wrong. dont make that mistake. research, plan, excecute. good luck

If you are handy at fabbing up a few things you can realisticly do it for less than a grand. I am putting a S4 turbo on my '83 GSL 12a. when I have everything done, I wil have about $800 in it. But, take in mind, I have fabbed alot of stuff myself. If you are just wanting to bolt and go, you might want to consider going with a Camden. A lot less work. In my opinion, you can make more power in the long run going turbo. Just my $.02 .

I know a little about these cars and everything, but I don't think that I know enough to be fab'ing my own stuff.

I wish that there was some kit that you could buy some were that had everything that you need, that would be so awsome.

I have looked into Camden, and to get everything i need, and to get it up and running it would be around 5k......and i reall don't have that kinda money.....

so yeah i don't know what ill do

thanks for all of the help everyone

Is it a problem to put a Turbo II motor from a 2nd gen car into a 85 GSLSE like I have?
