TurboII SWAP

I got a 84 GSL RX7. I have a turboII S4 motor. Im having problems with motor mounts. Anybody knows a company that would do this or a company that specialized in this type of things?? Please let me know!

what type of problem are you having with the mounts? it shouldn't be something that you can't handle yourself.

Dumb question but you are using a first gen front cover and first gen motor mounts aren't you? The FC mounts must be removed as they interfere with the first gen steering.

GSL-SE front cover
GSL-SE oilpan
Make some small bends/notches in the front mount bar

Thats all that needed to put a TII engine into any 1st gen except the GSL-SE chassis.With an SE, you only need to install the front cover and oilpan.

Like was mentioned before,if your trying to install the TII engine with its stock side mounts,thats not the way to do it.You have to change the TII engine to a 1st gen style mounting system.
For an 86-88 engine,this is a simple bolt up preceedure.
For the 89-92 engines,there are more problems involved if your gonna retain the stock EFI/computor.Please search for more info on this,if your curious......
