Turbo timer

Does any abody have experience putting a in a Greddy turbo timer into a first gen. I just put one in about a week ago with a T2 harness from Greddy. I studied wiring diagrams for the car and the turbo timer, they looked good on papper, I tried it, it worked!! The connectors are the same as is the wire arangement.

Today while sitting at a stop light I herd a ticking coming under my dash, sounded like a relay. I couldn't think of anything that it could be. I turned off the timer and the ticking stopped, and only came back when the turbo timer was turned back on. Is there some sort of relay under the dash that might be effected by the timer, or do these timers have some sort of internal relay?

Thanks
Ryan

What type of turbo you gonna run? I am thinking of either a T04 or buying a PROCHARGER off my friend. And getting and air/air intercooler in front of the radiator, then an air/water intercooler in place of the battery. Then relocate the battery to the back. I will most likely go with a turbo hat from mazdaracing.com , and run a small bridge port/large street port intake that holds a 51 ida carb. Should work lol. Hopefully make awesome power as expected then tapp in to the intake for the 200-500 shot of "wet" n.o.s.. maybe not any thing, I like my ***** being attached to me, instead of the wall. lol ect.......
