Turbo swap pics, finished off the cooling and oil systems

Got my turbo oil supply line, not as clean as I would like, but it works for now. Also redid the radiator hoses. I was using a Stainless flex hose before but I did not think it fit at all. I think it turned out great.

I also started to deal with the bin rust that I thought was benign, but turned out to be a bit worse.

I talked to a body guy about it and he even came out to check it out, he says its not terminal or a safety concern and can be fixed fairly easily, but for the time I can fill and POR 15 it till I do all the bodywork at a later time.

what are you cutting them with.

I wrap the line super tight with a single loop of this heavy duty masking tape, and then cut it quick and fast with a high speed cut-off wheel.

sometimes there a bitch though especially the big 10an ones

Yea, Damn Minnesota and our weather, look what it does to our cars Where are you getting the body work done though?

Whats that PVC leading from your turbo, should that be a "safety concern" haha.

My speedflow braided hoses and couplers have just arrived an hour ago, and looking at those pics just gave me extra energy and courage to start fiddling around with those things! Nice job, I'm hoping to have mine just as clean

The rust really sucks though, I'm happy mine's repaired, and we did that job before it was to bad.

the PVC downpipe is the mockup so that Stainlessworks.net can custom bend a system for me.

But....., and its a big but,

I talked to them a few days ago and they are backed up pretty good right now.

soo, Im going to get a crushbent system made temporarly and then send it to stainlessworks over the winter when the car is in storage.

the speakers were like that when I got the car. although there are no speakers in the back.

The radiator is a Chevy style (means the upper neck is on the left, and the lower on the right), 19x22in (cant remember which is which). The lower neck is really close to the engine mount and I had to cut it down a bit. The brand is bullet or something cheap, but its just a generic radiator.

Show me a pic of where you made the Hole for the wiring, on the INSIDE of the car please.

I am installing new gauges and am looking for a good place to penetrate the firewall.

Thanks.
