Well its for a 13b judging by the airflow sensor. So you might be able to make the exhaust manifold work by elongating the holes. it does have a nice t3 to t4 adapter on the manifold, lotsa options on turbos that way. the electronics are pretty much useless on your carburated car. That and the shipping from Japan is going to kick your ***.

Yeah, Seanrot, you are the one got the turbo kit from Japan, right? I have many friends there, and thinking about bringing a set here with a bag on the airplane this summer, but don't know how yet. Could you go into a bit detail on how to get this kit working with a 12a? I found a turbo hat just like yours (Sigma?) from Japan too, but I really don't know what are all the stuff I need to make it working. Please advise, thanks man

Are you thinking of a carbed setup or EFI? The stuff above is for a EFI set up and I'm running a carb so Im not much help on this project. the carb hat if its the same is for an Weber IDA and your looking for a carbed project. THe stuff in the pics above you can use the maniflod wastegate some of the piping but the electronics, you can resell and use the money for other stuff. That's usually what I do when I import the stuff. You need to decide what way you are going to go, whats your budget. BTW that manifold and wastegate are great for the $150.00 they are asking. That is the second time that auction went round so if you bid you will probably get it for that.

Oh and dont forget to search there is a huge amount of info on how what and why on this forum

thats on Yahoo Japan

that kit has been on Yahoo japan, for about 2 months now,

It is for a 12Aturbo, the air flow, and computers are what comes on the 84~85 Turbo LTDSE (domestic version of the GSL-SE) the manifold will bolt on directly with no mods, but the computer and air flow are worthless unless you get the entire intake manifold with sensors.

the previous owner had a KKK turbine on it hence the adapter thats bolted on it.

the turbo, and exhaust manifold will not care what type of controls you place on them as they are just pipes, and an air pump. You would need to locate a carb turbo hat for the carb you plan on using, then get the carb turbo prepped, and go from there.

Currently on Yahoo japan there are two sets of webers, with turbo hats, manifolds etc. for sale, I think they are running about 800 USD. that would make a good start as they are already turbo prepped, and the jetting, venturis, emulsion tubes, accelerator jets/pumps should already be setup to run with a turbo.

The common turbo for a setup like that over here is a t04e in a 54, 57, 60 trim depending upon planned useage witht the 57 trim the average.
