Turbo coolant return?

Hey guys I'm going to be turbocharging my 4port 13B. I was just wondering where is the best place to tap a coolant return. I'm thinking of using the 3/8 nipple behind the waterpump for the turbo coolant supply.

Thanks, Ed

Just use an oil cooled turbo.

You can use a TII water pump housing as these have the feed and return built in.

On mine the turbo manifold sits a bit too close to the return fitting so I welded a 3/8 barb onto the heater return line. Works great.

For supply, you can use the 83+ heater hard line and use the outlet for the oil-to-water cooler (thats if you have already converted to a oil-to-air OC) and weld a bung fitting in there. For the return, back of water pump housing or t-stat cover. Thats what Im using for the cartech water IC.
