turbo advise

i recently purchased an 85 gsl-se and was hoping to turbocharge it. unfortunatly i havent been able to find a kit for the fb. does anyone know where i could get one or do i have to do an engine swap to an fc turbo?

There are no turbo kits for any of our cars. Start getting used to your friend the Search function. There are threads on people that have done the Se turbo but I would recommend a S4 swap. There are plenty of threads on this subject also. Make sure your printer ink is full and print away. :-)

Know what sux about search, words like S4 and FB are not valid due to length. Wouldn't it be awesome to search for FB S4 or SE S4 swap. Instead, you just get SWAP... booo. =)

The only research thread I know of for turbos is the FAQs. The others pop up periodically in searches but seem miscategorized due to search limitations and the abundant use of acronyms too short for the search engine.

You don't search for them as a thread title. Just the words like turbo swap looking for them in the post portion of the thread. Problem is there are so many because no-one does a search and then opens a new thread. But that will change. :-)
