turbo for an '84 GSL-SE

Here's the deal. I have an '84 GSL-SE engine in my '81 rx7. Today on ebay I saw a turbo for the second gen engines pretty cheap. I was wondering if it would be feasible to buy this turbo and the manifold from a junk yard and bolt it all onto my 13B. Would this all work? What else would I have to do? Would the ECU need to work. Please help me out - Thanks, Jesse

feasible yes, cost affective not really. to get it working correctly it will cost some money. the turbo itself will bolt up fairly easily, you will have to machine a t2 upper manifold on. custom oil feed and drain will need to be made. fuel will have to upgraded by atleast a hiflow pump and a s-afc basically a fuel controller. then you will have to worry about what to do with the air from the turbo. you could just run it hot straight into the intake or set up a intercooler. look for david randalls website, very nice car and it is/was a gsl-se turbo car

How much intercooled boost can a 13B take? Think I'll call the junk yards and get an idea of what the manifold will cost. I definately need alot more info before I go about doing this.
How do I find that site you were talking about?

Thanks
Jesse
