Hi I want to Install a turbo 2 tranny on my GSL SE with the stock GSL SE engine. Do you have to Change the flywheel and counterweight or I could use the stock flywheel ? Please help, Thanks

The same rules between NA and t2 second gens applies here. You will need to use a counterweight matched for your engine, a turbo2 flywheel, turbo2 clutch, turbo2 pressure plate. and then you will need to have a driveshaft made for it.

Specifically....
You will need the correct rear counterweight and an AFTERMARKET TII flywheel.Something light weight like the steel or aluminum units sold by RB and others. That will allow you to select any TII specific clutch you like'

The only way to combine the smaller stock flywheel on the SE with the large input shaft of the TII trans,WITHOUT buying an aftermarket light flywheel,is with a specialty clutch disc that mates the two together. But if your gonna go through the trouble/cost of installing a TII trans, then a light flywheel is great mod to do anyways, and will actually gain you some peformance, wheras the TII trans will gain you nothing but weight and increased reliability.

Here is the specialty disc for directly mating an N/A engine to a TII tranny. There are two choices for 225MM disc to Turbo trans, but both are solid disc, copper puck clutches, neither of which are disireable on a street car.

And you still havent adressed the custom driveline, rear mount or shifter location.Granted, none of this is that hard, but it does require time and some fabrication skills. The TII tranny is a great mod,but its not a drop in affair.
