trying to simplify some PCV stuff

Ok, on my turbo -se I need to rework the vapor emission crap.

First off, I understand the importance of a gas tank vapor system, and I do not intend to just remove the charcoal canister, however, why do I need the can itself?
couldn't I just run the tank to the intake and put a pcv valve inline? does it matter if it's pre or post turbo? there are alot of capped vacuum sources on my intake I could use and clean things up a bit.

also, what keeps the evap system from sucking up gas under heavy vacuum? or is 15-20in not enough to displace alot of liquid?

Also I'm going to route the crank vent back into the intake. I don't see the point in messing with a catch can. But I am taking a cue from the FD racers and tapping a spot on the other side of the engine so the CC can vent in both lefty and righty hand corners. <again, any different in pre or post turbo venting?

thoughts are welcome, but don't say, "just toss it, it won't smell that bad." yes it will and that's ghetto.
