It won't be that loud. I has true dials on my first fb with a half bridge 4port. I would do it again if I had the funds. That's going on a 13bt right?

wow true duals... I hope it's going on a stock port. Anything bigger than that needs to be collected for maximum scavaging and therefore power. Looks great though.

True duel individual pipes, non collected header, no x-pipe. Its going on a 89-91 na engine with vdi intake and stock ports.

Just because you can run duals doesn't mean you should run duals. No exhaust scavenging. No tuned exhaust length.

Is that stainless steel or aluminized steel tubing.

Merits/demerits aside, that is some very fine, detailed and professional looking work.

Its all stainless except for the RB header. Paul himself didn't object to the true duel when I asked him about it. He supplied the fuel/ignition map for the Motec too so we will see when we get it on the dyno if it really is an exercise in wasting time and money which I doubt it will be. Thanks for the comments everyone.

Paul doesn't object to true duals. Everything has it's place. They are fine on stock to mild streetported engines. He would absolutely be against them on bridge or peripheral ported engines though. The length of the pipes (hopefully they are the same), IS a tuned length!

an rx3 i had yrs ago i had to quieten it down due to the neighbors next to the plant i worked at at the time complained i disturbed them at night when i left work. i had a regular muffler like that put on it just to satisfy them. after about 3 months it started getting loud again. btw, anyone else experiencing problems with the smilies? can't click on them in the small box, and the "more" link wont open the popup window.

Those are Borlas. They shouldn't burn out too quickly.

No collector = no pressure wave tuning.

If you get a decent heat wrap it will hold up fine. I have some DEI stuff on my RB header and when the engine is fully warmed up I can actually touch the wrap and not get burned. It's warm but not very hot, so it works very well. So far has held up for one season.

I know what you mean bro. I cant start my cars before 9AM and after 8PM. otherwise, the ******* in my neighborhood will complain about the noise and smell. I need to replace the dual mufflers in my 75 RX-3 but I'm switching to single using the racing beat's universal muffler. I have it in my 73 RX-3 and it sounds much better. However, I dont know how long it will last since I hardly drive my cars now.

Now for the Borla, I dont like them. They are just too loud. It was in my buddy's rotary 510 (single then split to two mufflers)

factory racing manual says so. Its also on a on pp engine too. Of course the one i have was made in 80. I highly doubt scavenging or wave length pulses mean a god damn thing when your wot for most of the track though. Racing beats stuff is all tuned for the street. I am sure none of it applies on wot runs. Engine is an air pump no matter boinger or rotor its a pump air in/air out is all that matter to make power. Now usable torque is a whole different story.
