All 7" round lamp assemblies whether USA sealed beams or E code European are same dimension to be able to fit headlight housings and lamp retention rings in all cars.

my upgrades...
I also added some better bulbs from what came in the box... I believe they are 100/80w ( found links - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 , https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 )

If you haven't already upgraded your headlight wiring, recommend you do so soon. With those bulbs you're running,it won't take long to overheat the 33+ yr old wiring and contacts in combo switch.

Just installed a pair of TruckLite 27270C in my 85 GSL-SE. It's a drop in installation, electrically and mechanically. The only problem was a single protruding plastic post that doesn't quite fit through the body opening when raising/lowering the headlamp. I filed the post down with fine hand file, took about 3 minutes per headlight, and it's all good now.
It's probably best to disconnect the battery and use the manual **** to pop open your lights for the installation. That way you can slowly lower them and ensure it clears.
Looking forward to it getting dark tonight. Think I will go for a drive!
