i've had an '84 gsl-se for about a month now, and for the first time since i got it, i put 89 octant in, whereas i usually use 87. and this week, for the first time since i got it, i had trouble starting it.

Unless you are boosted or spraying, get the lowest octane gas you can.

yeah the 87 pump was out of order and the gas station was crowded, so i just threw in $5 worth of 89.
