I had to add some transmission fluid to my manual transmission so I pulled out the shifter and now it is stuck in reverse. I usually pull it out in neutral some how I guess it went into reverse the last second. What do I need to do?

 

what yr u dealing with? can't add oil to 81 and later that way. just use a screw driver to pry the linkage back to neutral position.
