I tried looking in the FSM ... but couldn't find anything in there what so ever unless I'm blind. But I'd like to know where every wire goes and go what.

 

Which transmission? Standard or Auto?

If you are talking about the manual transmission, pull out your Haynes manual and look at pages:

191, 271 and the other wireing charts.

The Bullet Connectors are for the BackUp Lights.
Colors= Green w/Yellow Stripe wire plugs into the Red w/White Stripe wire.
As far as the other Wire that should be for the Neutral Switch.
There maybe another wire that is only for Automatic Trannies.
Known as an Inhibitor Switch.
So if it's there it should not be connected since you got a Mannie.
Some models came either with or without it. My 82 did not have it but my 84GSL has this wire and it's a Manual???
Go figure!

Thanks for checking up, to be honest, I haven't had time to look at that but will do so today, I've been busy with in the interior for the moment. Actually as i'm typing i'm waiting for calls from a couple places to let me know when my products have arrived and when my paint will be ready. Once I relook at it I will let you know.
