Well, the rubber elbows fit inside the intercooler reducers/couplers. The way we create the seal was to put a small piece of the pipe inside the rubber elbow. Then we tightened down the intercooler reducer/coupler which has the rubber elbow inside which has the small piece of pipe inside.

That explanify it for you?

Again, i apologize for not updating this thread as often as i should. We have been working diligently on it - i swear. Just so many LITTLE things to work out. We finally got most of them worked out (like the brakes, etc); most importantly - the issue with the FPR allowing WAY too much fuel through and very SEVERELY flooding the motor. Come to find out, we had the return line hooked up wrong!!! lol.

Anyway, the car does finally run AND drive on it's own. Now i need to register it and get it too a muffler shop! lol

It felt sooooo good to be driving it again! Even if it was a short drive. All this effort, time, money, blood, sweat, and tears (did I mention money?) is most definitely worth it! I can't believe it is all finally paying off! I'm not out of the woods yet though. it is running a little rough still and it seems to hesitate just as I am hitting boost. On top of that, my tach isn't working. So, if y'all have some advice on that, i'd be happy to hear it!

Anyway, here are some pix of me driving it for the first time since FEBRUARY!!!!!

I'm gonna be do'in a blow through on my 12a as well. I have a T3 turbo, couple carbs to pick from, and carb hat already. It'll be a nice partner for my supercharged SE. I'll have the best of both worlds. The 12a is strictly a budget project, $500 in the car, $600 spent on repairs and new cd player and the turbo project should run under $500. I am thinking about a TII intercooler and a small scoop (only because budget is priority one, goal is to get the most for the least hand have the resale value be greater than the investment).

^ sounds fun! good luck!

Well, just a quick update. Got the car registered, the exhaust hung, and took it to paint and body! She'll be gone from the yard for a month or two, so i guess i will have to go visit every now and again.

I'm thinking that the only thing i don't like is the corners of the front bumper. Been thinking about trimming them off for a while now. If they went, the bumper would look more round, I think it would look more sleek (and less ricey). Then again, i could take my usual **** retentive / demented approach and keep them for the sole purpose of making it a rice sleeper. Meening - It looks like rice, so everyone rags on it, until i blow them away.

I'm not sure what bumper/air dam it is. I wanted a wide body, and the guy i bought it from threw it in with the fenders. So, i really don't know.

i dont know if i would remove it all together, maybe just make it more subtle, maybe reduce it some, i think it would be worse in the opposite direction if you removed it completely. i think it also needs to be blended better from the the fender ripple to the airdam rippple. which it looks like is happening.

Edit: on seco d thought, i think it would look pretty good if you took the corners off, if the bumper was blended to the fenders.

Tthat's one wild *** front end, never seen one like it before. You will need to take the drop line on the front fender and carry it into the air dam, otherwise the cutoff will look wrong.

From my experience with my widebody you will need to be extremely careful with your front end extending out that far. I've torn mine up simply getting in and out of my driveway. Catching the front lip has cracked the fender over the wheelwell in the 10 oclock position. If I could find stock height springs with the same stiffness as the Eibachs, I'd probably use them to raise the front of mine.

that front bumper sticks out too far forward --->be very carefull when you drive that thing. it can really mess up all that hard work put into it.

It's boosting quite nicely!

I'm still debating with myself about the corners on the bumper. I look at it one time, and i like them, then i look at it again and i hate them. Ugh. Decisions. Photochop anyone?
