great to see that things are coming along nicely for your car. Have you worked out all the issues with the turbo, and etc.? Have you driven it boosted yet without any issue?

Later,
Chris-

TRANSFORMERS!!!!!! lol. That's awesome! I think i have a new idea for my personalized plate! haha.

Yeah, we rewired the ignition with 10 guage wires instead of the tiny wires that i had used previously, and then we finished the timing. It goes right on into boost with NO issues! I haven't really pushed it yet though. The only "little" thing I need to do after paint and body is isolate and repair an oil leek. I can't wait!

I can't believe they just sprayed over everything in the engine bay. It looked like total crap. Other than that it looked like a worthwhile project. They were obviously in too big of a hurry though. Not a fan of the front bumper either...

Definately not a fan of the front airdam, or the excuse of it possibly being the "sleeper" rice. Just doesn't work, period. I also didn't like the crazy overspray. I mean, if you're going to put that many man hours into the body and other reconditioning, take the extra time to actually mask stuff off in the engine bay if you're not going to pull it out.

Update:

I filed my taxes and got a NICE return. My wife and I took the guy the rest of the money that I owed him - $1,100.00! So, supposedly, he'll get back to work on it by next week! I'm so stoked!

Oh, and we are definitely gonna 'fix' the front bumper. Double checked with the guy about that today while I was there, and he is gonna work on something to make it less nasty.

Looks a lot better than before with those corners. Still looks a little long in the nose, but that may just be the angle.
