does anyone know if you can put an aftermarket shift **** on an automatic tranny. i have searched and cant seem to find the actual size of the shaft or if anyone has put one on. there are tons on ebay, but they are all listed as fitting Acura, honda, crx, and other such, no actual thread sizes listed. How do I find one that will fit?

 

find the 1 you like and if it screws on than re-tap your shifter thats what i did...but mine is 4speed not auto

 

i was hoping i wouldnt have to rethread. im worried about it messing with the locking mechinism
