The transmission in my 84 GSL-SE just decided to blow up, and I found a great deal on a tranny from an 84 GSL. What I need to know is if this tranny will bolt up to my engine, and if not, what transmissions can I use?

 

Yes the transmission will just bolt right up. The main difference on the GSL-SE transmission is that it has a dust vent on the bell housing and the gearing is different in 5th.
