so i heard a scraping noise under my car while drivin so i jacked it up when i got home and found that my driveshaft was hitting the heat sheild. i then looked at the tranny crossmember and found that the drivers side has no bushings at all. where can i find these bushings online? can i just bolt the tranny in without them?

 

I don't believe that Mazdatrix or any other aftermarket guys supply these. I would post up in the classified section. The only other choice is going to be the dealer.

You do not want to install without them. While your at it inspect the trans mount. They are famous for the rubber seperating from the metal portion of the mount.
Also consider replacing the rear extension housing seal.

 

Is it the small flat donut looking thing? I might have one. Do you also need the nut and large flat washer? We could work something out.

 

all i need is the bushing (the large flat rubber donut.) how much would you want for it. ill still check with mazda and see what theyre askin for it but their parts counter already closed so ill have to check tomorrow.

I drove the white RX-7. I talked to you on the phone about the rubber donut thing. How did that turn out on your car anyway? Did the dealer get you the right part?

 

my mom picked it up after dropping me off at work(since my car don't work) so ill be installing it tonight. and hopefully youll see me blastin around on the road soon enough.
