tranny options

okay, i read in an old article of grassroots motorsports that 1st gen rx7 tranny and some miata trannies are the same. is this true, and if so, which one would fit my 82 rx7? where can i find more about this?

yeah, you can make a c/r trans using some Miata internals but you can't stuff a Miata trans in at 1st gen
