Angry tranny issues

Ok guys I just replaced all the hydraulics and now another problem with the tranny. I'm really getting sick of this. Now there is no 5th gear and a whing noise. Like when it's in reverse ya know. That noise. Now I have a nice clutch I plan on keeping and the flywheel. I just need a new tranny now. And I was wondering hat kind of tranny would be best. It's a 13B engine so any help on this would be appreciated. Or should I just take it to a transmission shop to have rebuilt?

That's strange. Does the shifter feel like it's going into 5th and reverse?

Sounds like a shifter issue. 5th and rev are on the same "gate". Its prolly NOT the tranny man.

I'm afraid that you're going to have to drop the tranny to see what's wrong. The shifter and tail housings are really easy to remove and inspect.

It's not allowed? Give me a break. They can't enforce those rules.

Months. You can drop a tranny in the morning and put it back on in the evening.
