Tranny drop

84 gsl\se 13b having the tranny dropped soon and the mechanic was wondering it the oil pan has to come off any quick answer would be appreciated.

Just as wacky stated. If a mechanic asked me that question when pulling a transmission I would run for the nearest exit,lol.
