tps question

after reading a post on testing the tps with the lights, I decided to give it a try. When I got the car warmed up and plugging the test lights, They were both off. Then with a turn of the screw one bulb came on very dim. I turned some more and both came on very dim. I turned back the screw and both went off and now neither will come on at all. I have turned the screw all the way in both directions but no lights. I know the lights work from putting them on the battery terminals. Any ideas?

sounds like the tps is bad. The service manual (and haynes manual I believe) will show you the pinout of the actual tps connector (not just the test light port) and you should be able to put a DVM on there to verify if it's reading the correct resistance.

chances are it's fried -- and needs to be replaced.
