Hi, i'm having trouble finding a top dead center on a freshly rebuilt 12a motor. Can somebody tell me what should be the position of the front rotor on a top dead center? Any help appreciated

The crank pulley hub (what the pulley is bolted to) should have it marked with a dimple. FSM shows you how to line it up.

its kinda of a pita, but what a engine builder told me is to pull out the plugs. grab a mirror and turn the motor over while lookin at the trailing plug hole. once you see the apex seal rotate it down just enough so its in between to trailing and leading holes. ( this is on the rear rotor) so now when it is 1/3 of a rotation off, the front rotor is in top dead center position.
