Tools for changing rotors and calipers?

What tools are needed to replace front rotors and calipers. Would it be easier to buy loaded calipers or to rebuild them?

to take your rotors off all you need is a good rachet set (which is what i've always used) or what a lot of guys say is to invest in good 6 sided impact socket set and just use it on your regular rachet handle. As for calipers, you can rebuild, but if your not confident enough or you value your life, buy rebuilds. The cost is about $130 or so from mazdatrix.com (depending on your year and model).

I hope this helps you, and remember, take one side apart at a time so you can use the other side for reference for putting back together.

Or, buy a good rachet set with a lifetime replacement waranty. That way you can be a rough as you like on the tool set, and if it breaks, take it back. I have a Canadian Tire MasterCraft Pro Rachet set (same as Sears Craftsman Pro). Pricey, but worry free.
