Premix = 1oz per gallon of gas you fill. Preferred to fill before you put the gas in, so it gets sloshed around real good.

Also, do you have vacuum secondaries or mechanical on your carb? Vacuum will not open on free rev.

Any 2-cycle oil that meets TC3W specs works for premix. Can't help on the jetting other than pick up a Holley tuning book, a jet kit and a wideband.

If the secondaries don't open, and they are mechanical secondaries, then check your linkages.

Push the secondaries open with your finger, and see if the shaft moves, then work backwards from there.

If they are mech sec then you have an issue with the linkage or not enough travel in your cable. You will need to a hole close to the throttle for the throttle cable button. Take and send pics for more info. Too rich?? Need to know what jetting and pwoer valves you are running to help there and what you afr reading are, idel, cruise, accel.

The original owner (Scott) had supplied a Holley 390 which comes stock with 54 jets, and were upgraded to 59 jets for street use as per atkins instuctions.

by lossening the bolt on the side of the dizzy and advancing it.
before playing with it go buy a timing light, set your engine to top dead center and see where you are at.
Mark your main pully at TDC with a piece of chalk white for leading and yellow for trailing, hook the timing light to leading 1 and check then trailing 1
I didnt have a locked dizzy on my setup so i dont know what you are looking for timing wise maybe Gary(84 stock) can help out with that bit of info, but i am almost sure he doesnt run a locked dizzy either. as a guess i would get it to 10 before TDC for leading.

pm me if you wish, I have been running a camden for years. Used 3 different engines and 5 different carbs ranging from 600-850 cfm. If you're running too much timing you're gonna pop that motor (I've done it myself).

well take off the top inspection plate at the back of the motor on the top drivers side and and turn the crank until you see the counterweightthere will be two bolt heads in plain sight and TDC is when back edge of the counterweight is right in between those bolt heads.
