14x5 is a narrower rim than we already have. Stock is 5.5" wide.

I'd like to have em in 15x7's though with the 4x110.

You can't use FWD rims on a RWD car. The only way you could make them work is if you were using some type of spacer (like wheel adapters) to make up for the large difference in offsets. Otherwise, I'd bet you're going to have some serious problems with them....

I'm new to this site and my '84 GSL, but hasn't the limit aftermarket wheel "solution set" been figured out? In the past week, since I've joined, and started searching the internet, I've only found a couple models of new wheels available for 4x110.
If anyone knows of a 15x7 wheel with a 4x110 lug pattern, please let me know.

Thanks, Brad

Panasports. Epsilon. Riken. SSR. Enkei. Are a few wheel brands that you can use to type into Ebay.

i tried it for awhile actually. i had a set of 5zigen's for a Civic but was universal bolt pattern. it was 40mm offset, the fronts looked OK, but the back just looked nasty.. didn't look right

the offset for an fb is 22 cause thats what i ran on mine and they sat flush with the fenderwells, they were rwd wheels, oh and the volk racing wheels being made in 4x110 is no suprise, being that i work at a aftermarket wheel and tire company....that and any high up there wheel manufacturer will custom make any bolt pattern and offset you want, as long as you have the money....but it will take awhile to make....and look at tirerack.com they have some wheels that will fit the first gen but its only one type that they offer....its really not hard to find wheels for this car....you just have to dig....most people prefer that old school look and dont really mess with that tuner look even tho. the tuner look looks a hell of alot better....

Uhhhh, what are you saying here? The FB is around a +35mm offset. The stock wheels DO NOT sit flush with the fenders. Not all RWD vehicles use a perfect RWD offset. Most trucks will use something close to a 0 offset, while my 97 Thunderbird, which is RWD BTW, uses a +38 offset. A mustang is generally +25 offset, while the majority of RWD imports are between a +30 and +40 offset.

Well I personally think they'd be point less since they're only available in 13x5.5 and 14x5. Stock rims are 13x5.5, so I don't see any advantage to these. I think TE37's look best in a 16 inch size. And a 45 offset might work, you'd have to be the guinnie pig and see if it hits the springs or not. I run 15x7 enkies witha +7 offset 205's in the front and 225 in the rear. And they rub a little fender on big bumps.

That is a very broad question. Most will agree that Panasports and Enkei mesh wheels look the best on the FB. Panasports can still be bought new in a variety of sizes, but are VERY expensive. Were talking $600 PER WHEEL. Most other wheels you will have to find used. Personally, I wouldn't go any larger than a 16" diameter wheel on an FB. After that, they start to look too big for the car.

There was a pic of an FB with 18" rears and it look quite stupid IMO. Made the car look like it had a jacked up rear end and the wheels looked like they were physically too big for the car.

The really sad thing is that down here in Australia, the fasion IS stupid huge-**** 18 inch wheels on small cars. Half the modded first gens you see here are running them!

Looks fucken rediculous if you ask me. I wouldn't want any larger than 16 inch on my car.

Stock offset for plus wheel is 27, while the rotor wheel is either 26 or 28 ( I remember it was 1 or maybe 2 difference). I havent paid much attention to the SA waffle wheel. I am sure the offset is different from the other 2. Those are the only wheels I am familiar with.
