This is the first time seeing this, man - I can't stop laughing. I can appreciate the late 70's ingenuity on making such a thing. Fast forward to now and it honestly looks like borrowing Fat Albert's leather jacket would offer the same privacy and sound deadening effect. That's awesome that some people have these as I don't imagine seeing this on a 1st gen unless one rolls into the show room of Barrett-Jackson. I remember my uncle buying a parts car rx7 for $500 last year and then making $800 when he refurbished and sold the Targa top the car came with. This to me demonstrated that there are people out there willing to pay big bucks for rare 1st gen items. I would honestly clean it with leather conditioner and store it for safe keeping as either a nostalgic keepsake or investment.
