i did a search, and no one really said anything about them except they are a good choice, and htey are adjustable. to the people that have them or have been in a car with them, are they worth the money? i know directfreak drilled those holes in the rear for easy access (which i would do also, good idea)

i mainly like the idea of being able to stiffen it up when im riding with my friends, or soften it up for trips with my girlfriend. i pretty much have my mind set on eibach springs, and sway bars im not sure, but thast down the road, im going to settle for springs and shocks/struts. my budget is flexable becasue i dont want to have to redo it, so im willing to take time to save up the money. i just want to know other people's feedback to determine if they are worth it. i have kyb gas shocks and gr-2 struts, they came with the car, but werent installed. i was waiting to get springs. but if i decide on tokico's, im just going to sell them.

also, wheres the cheapest anyone has seen them, i think they are 140 something at mazdatrix, but i hear they are over priced

I have them.... I also have Coil-overs, which makes them pretty stiff, but you can fix that to a point...

A co-worker has them and a front bar on his otherwise stock 83 and I couldn't beleive how well it handled. Very very tight. I say they are well worth the money, you will not be disappointed.

And yes, shox.com is the way to go, when I hosed one of mine, they quoted me like 9x.xx for a rear and that was less than anyone else, and I had it in like 3 days...

 

you hosed one? broke? how easy are they to **** up? are the durable? i want it to last if im dumping this kind of money on them.

 

i have a pair of tokico Illuminas that i never got a chance to put on my car... anyone want to make an offer?- i ordered them for my 85 gs

 

 

I love my Iluminas!! they are great to stiffen up for the auto-x or nice twisty roads, and soften up for the ride home. With the RB springs even on the softer settings they are still a little stiff. But I love them!
Deffinetly www.shox.com they were like $30 or $40 cheaper than Rx7.com

 

No one has given an actual price of the ones they got from shox.com, but NOPI(do I hear rice? rice rice, etc) has them, Tokico Illuminas, for $118 up front and $97 in the rear. They also hare the Tokico blues for a good price.

Could some one tell us the price they paid at shox.com so we can compare?

 

good place, i live down the street from them. i have a dealers acct with them too. I am personally running kyb 8 way adj. in the rear on my car right now. I havent tested them out yet because my motor isnt running yet. ill keep you posted

 

heh, no.. I got rearended and it shoved my muffler into the Right rear shock and bent it.

Kinda needed replaced. Pissed me of too since it was only about 3 months old...

 

I paid 94 for the rear.
