Not much of a good selection for 14's but those Yoko's look good. Performance in rain is important to me. For dry and autoX, I will have some Falken Azennis on my stock SE wheels. check em out here : http://www.falkentire.com/html/
Yes thats the Azennis.. I believe that they go for about $65 each, depending on where you purchase them. Tirerack should be able to get those for you plus shipping or your preferred tire dealer in town.
Try also http://www.toyo.com/ and http://www.nittotire.com/intro.htm

Trending Topics
BfGoodrich G-force Kd's or Kdw's. Not sure if they have them for the 14" but, I have the Kd's in a 205/50/15 and these things stick like freaking Glue!! awsome in the rain as well...
14" wheels
A set of 14" wheels to fit the 4 on 110mm bolt pattern will take some searching on your part. The first ones that come to mind would be the '83 RX7 Limited Edition wheels, also called "snowflake" wheels, but there are other aftermarket wheels by Riken, Enkei, etc. which you may be able to find.
Here's a picture of the LE wheels.

Good luck! -WG

I already have the 14" wheels. I'm looking for what type of tries to mount on them. I have the Honey Comb wheels, they are my favorite.
What tire measurements are people using with 14" wheels?

As far as performance, I'm relatively happy. Only 'relatively' because in AutoX'ing it this summer I experienced quite a bit of oversteer. I can't help but wonder how much of that would be eliminated with a 205 and a lower treadwear rating. They do however work flat out AWESOME in the rain; they have a big ol' channel running down the middle of them.
When it comes time for new tires I'll likely step up to 15s or 16s as tire selection just doesn't exist anymore for 14s. That and I'm going back to 205s or better. HTH.
I switched over to 14" SE wheels this summer and put Bridgestone Potenza RE950 195/60HR14's on them. I don't autox but they've seen close to 100mph at Portland International Raceway and stuck like glue in the turns. They also work great in the rain.
www.discounttiredirect.com for the Azenis. Last I checked, TireRack didn't carry them. Great for autocross, but I've heard they're not too good in wet weather.
Yeah, the Azenis goes for 50 a tire in the size you're looking for at www.discounttiredirect.com. My friend uses them on his Subaru Impreza 2.5RS for street and autocross, and he really likes them, even more so cause they're cheap.
Conversely, if you wanted an even cheaper tire, you could get 185/60VR14 Yokohama AVS Intermediates from the Tire Rack (www.tirerack.com). Haven't known anybody with them, but they're basically a road version of an open-wheel rain tire, so I can't imagine they'd be too bad, especially at $41 a tire, and with a 160 A A UTQG rating, compared to the Azenis' 200 A A rating. Also, it's probably going to be easier to find a place to do Yoko warranty stuff, if you need it. Just a thought.
I would have to put a vote in for the Azenis. I put them on my SE in the middle of last summer and do they every stick. Unless the rain was really heavy i found them to be alright in the wet surprisingly. The only drawback I can think of is the 200 wear rating. Mine are half worn already. But thats what you get for buying soft tires i guess.
I put some Summitomo HTR 200s on my SE a few months back. $42 bucks at tire rack. Grip good but have some side wall flex that can take a little getting used to if you jerk the wheel. Pleasant bang for the buck.
I love my set of yoko es100's, 195-50-15. I used them all last summer, GREAT traction in wet and dry, extremely quiet, great tire for the street. I don't know how well they do at auto-x, but I'll be finding out this coming summer. If there's any snow durring winter where you live, keep an extra set of winter tires on some cheap stock rims, es100's DO NOT give ANY grip if there is snow coating the road.
