Question Tires for Stock 13"..opinions?

I'm looking at replacing the tires on my stock 13" rims on my 83 gs. First, I am moving up to 205/60 13's. So far I am considering:
Falken Ziex Ze-502 or
Sumitomo HTR 200

I'm more concerned about good dry-weather performance than rain/snow performance..

Opinions?

-Steve

I had a set up Sumitumo HTR200 205/60R13 on my car and was happy with them.

Good all season tire with a little bit of performance and cheap.

They will last for awhile too.

If you want performance though how about some Kuhmo Tires? 215/50R13 Sixe is available.

They might squeeze out around the rims a little but will go on. At a tredwear of 80, they will not last long however.

Ask Gamble about Tire & Rim Sizes or check out WheelSpecs.com

I use used yokohama's that came straight off a Spec Racer Ford for autocross.

For daily driving, I just use the cheap-o's

205s are pushing it with a 5.5" wide rim. Not enough support for the sidewall which will be somewhat bulgy.
A 195 width tire will actually have less sidewall rollover on those rims.

Listen to Wankelguy, 195's are probably the best all around fit for the stock rims. 205's will work, and work all right, but anything wider than a 205 will be too flexy. This is all IMHO, of course.

The Sumitomo HTR 200 are a good tire, very nice in the rain and good in the dry. They don't last very long though and are useless in the snow.
