can anybody give me some helpful tips on tips on sparkplug wires and plugs?

I use Denso only, but NGK are good also.

Best wires are Magnecor, but for road use may be overkill.

the rx-7 originally came with NGK plugs and wires. thats all i will use. denso plugs are fine too. i've had great luck with them as well. you make the call. oem wires are good enough if your ignition system isnt modded to throw a much hotter spark.
