mabey I'm thinking backwards??? I could have sworn that when you turn the dizzy counter clockwise, thats advance....

Well really, it depends on how the dizzy was put in. Being off by 2 teeth could make that full retard, or more. But if its set correctly then that is full advance

It's advance because the shaft turns counterclockwise (or for you other folk, anticlockwise).
