That's as long as the ecentric shaft pulley was installed correctly.

Forgot to ask you if you know how to align the dist marks up and what posistion the rotor is supposed to face when you drop it in.

So true. If you have had your motor rebuilt or did a rebuild check the timing using the flywheel. There's a good write up on how to do it.

not really its just to give u and idea

make sure the leading mark is lined up with the pin on the front cover

also if the car is hard to start and back fires alot it means u are off a tooth so dont be thinkin u wrecked it..

If you don't start your sentences with a capital letter and put a period at the end.
How in the hell am I going to figure out what you are talking about.

I'll give you credit for being partially correct.
I'm just not going to tell you what part you got wrong.

The part about being a tooth off, you are thinking about a small block chevy or something.

The rest of the post is completly correct. Good job.

What? You don't think it's possible to put the dizzy in one tooth out of alignment?

No, that's not what I meant. I was refeering to the fact that 1 tooth off will not cause the motor not to start or backfire.

Instead of telling folks to search first, I'm going have to start telling them to FSM from Trochoid first!
