Timing Probs.
I have swapped out my stock port 12a with my street port 12a. Put the distributor back eactly the way it was in the stock port. Lined up the 2nd timing mark on the pulley with the arrow on the rotor faceing either straight forward or straight back. Then it wouldnt start, pulled it with another car and got it started, But ran like ****. Would idle around 2000 rpm. Advaced the timing by pulling the dist. and advancing it one tooth, still wouldnt start. Pulled it and it started ran a little better bit not good enough to start on its own. My plan next is to get new spark plugs and leave the timing advanced the one tooth and retard on the slider of the dist. If there are any ideas out there I will appreciate some brain storming.

left the timming stock, with a slight advance. Charged the battery, put new plugs and got it started. I let the engine idle at 2000rpms for a while and now starts and runs better and better!

No timming prob, just didnt like the dead battery. Just took a little patience and now running beatifully! When I got it started I let it run for about 30 min or so at 2000rpm's. Then in the morning it cranked right up!
