Timing and DLIDFIS

How far can I safely advance my timing with DLIDFIS?

I wouldn't run more than 20* BTDC leading whether you're running DLIDFIS or the stock setup. Leading-trailing split should be about 10*.

REVHED, your pic isn't working anymore. Do you know if the CD Cosmo ever had headlight washers? Or did Mazda only put them on the FB RX-7? That would mean the SA RX-7 didn't have them either.

I'm not 100% sure about earlier models, but all the 83+ GSL and GSL-SE models had them in Canada.

They also came on Australian, Brittish AND Japanese versions, but not the American version. I'm not sure which trim packages they came with on the international versions.
:p

We only got one trim level over here in Australia and it's the GSL I believe. Mine's an '82.

At the risk of sounding like a dick, I want to point out that this thread is supposed to be about timing and DLIDFIS. Not about headlight washers.

That answered your original question didn't it? So what's your problem?
