Figured it out finally, The carb was delivering way to much fuel and it was washing away the oil on the apex seals. This caused low compression and eventually caused the car to slowly die while idling.

Good shooting!

Why was the carb delivering too much fuel? Overhaul gone awry? Wrong jets?

I dont actually know, I'm goin to buy a working one, and play around with this one and figure out what happened. I'll keep you updated on what I find. Thanks for the help.
